Working hand-in-hand with the brilliant Catherine Ugwu and her team at Betty Productions, I spent four months working as broadcast director on this beautiful, stadium-sized theatrical production in UAE. To celebrate their national day, in a major break with tradition, the Royal Family commissioned this ambitious, original, theatrical show: a cast and crew of over 5000, a budget of several tens of millions of dollars, and a one-off 19 camera, live broadcast.
